Wendy Ke - Administrator, Member Services

Biography

Wendy Ke brings to the Alliance over 15 years of planning, communication, customer relations, and administration experiences from a variety of industries including: urban and environmental planning, active travel, and public education. She enjoys collaborative and socially oriented places of employment, as demonstrated by her work history.

Wendy has worked extensively in the active travel industry guiding international tours for Backroads, Ranger programs for Point Reyes National Seashore, and promoting Clif Bar and Company products. In these work environments, Wendy refined her ability to think on her feet to provide quality customer service, while remaining flexible and professional. Wendy has also worked administratively for Community Development Departments in the Bay Area as a City/Regional Planner and on Oahu as a Scholarship Administrator for the University of Hawaii Foundation. While in administrative roles, Wendy fostered cooperative working relationships with diverse groups, managed public education programs, and helped students from 10 university campuses receive financial aid.

Outside of work Wendy enjoys an active lifestyle that includes daily road or mountain bike rides, hikes, gardening, and travel. She plays an active role in her daughter’s education: volunteering in her classrooms, managing school gardens, and coordinating sustainable practices within the district. Wendy lives with her husband, daughter, two cats, and a fleet of bicycles.
