CEO Roundtable "Current Trends in Gree/Clean/Sustainable Technology Markets"

The firm of Wendel, Rosen, Black & Dean's Green Business Practice Group of Oakland is hosting and sponsoring this roundtable at their offices.  Participating CEOs will be able to exchange ideas with other CEOs and discuss how current trends are affecting your businesses and future strategic initiatives.

Comerica Bank is sponsoring this roundtable at The Rotunda Building in Oakland.

This CEO Roundtable will include 4 time-boxed discussions - each led by a subject matter expert who will “set the table” with a brief talk prior to opening it up for an interactive discussion for the remainder of the allocated 30 minutes per discussion.

CEO Roundtable: "Managing Your Board of Directors"

This CEO Roundtable will enable participants to discuss the range of challenges that CEOs face when dealing with their Board of Directors. 

We will be joined by two people that have given this topic a lot of thought:

  • Pascal Levensohn, Managing Partner of Levensohn Venture Partners, and Chairman for a recent collaboration between 22 venture capitalists and technology CEOs that resulted in the attached "Simple Guide to the Basic Responsibilities for VC-Backed Company Directors."
  • Tom Engdahl, CEO of Radiance Technologies and long-term Alliance member, brings a wealth of CEO experience from leading seven different technology companies

Alliance member, Martin McGlynn of StemCells, the first company to directly identify and isolate human neural stem cells from normal brain tissue, will join us for this regional Alliance Meeting.  Martin has spent several decades in the life sciences industry in Europe, Canada and the United States and will share his experiences in this developing area of biotechnology.
