Biography
Robert Jurkowski is a founding partner of On Demand Advisory Services, a strategic consulting firm focused on helping CEOs with their business strategy with a particular emphasis on growing revenue predictably and profitably. Working together with CEOs, he links business strategy with marketing and sales execution to achieve results. He lives a mission of service to partner with and help CEOs succeed with their business plan.
For the past 25 years Robert has built and scaled nine software and services companies as an operating “hands on” leader at every stage of revenue growth from startup to public companies. Before founding On Demand Advisory Services, he was Chairman and CEO at Selectica, Inc. a public software company. He has also had leadership positions with Oracle, Dun & Bradstreet Software, Automatic Data Processing, Aurum Software, Silicon Energy, Apriso, RightWorks, and Caterpillar.
Robert also has a passion to understand and master emerging business models such as Software-as-a-Service and Cloud Computing. Prior to Selectica, he was the CEO for Intacct Corporation, a market leader for on demand financial management and accounting applications. Robert co-founded the IBM Software as Service Partner Council and has served as a SIIA Software Division Board member. He is an accomplished speaker at industry forums and events.
Robert earned a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago. He resides with his family downtown San Jose and they are involved with local charity organizations like Ballet San Jose, Symphony Silicon Valley and the Silicon Valley Capital Club. He enjoys travel, golfing and hiking.
