Biography
Russ Harrison is President and Chief Executive Officer of onManagement inc., an advisory and consulting firm specializing in strategic change and executive coaching for US and International companies. Russ brings to onManagement a proven track record, spanning more than thirty years, providing leadership in entrepreneurial companies and in Fortune 100 corporations.
Russ has served as Chief Executive of publicly traded, as well as private technology businesses in software and enterprise services. His career includes senior executive experience spanning global markets, building new companies and improving performance in under-achieving businesses. At McKesson Corporation in San Francisco, Russ served as their first Chief Information Officer, responsible for all computer technology-related activities. He was also CIO at Société Internationale de Télécommunications Aéronautiques, in Paris, where he led a team responsible for technology spanning more than 200 countries and territories.
During Russ' eleven-year tenure at Bank of America, in San Francisco and London, he developed the international banking systems on which the Bank continues to rely today, and went on to serve as their Senior Vice President for US systems development. Earlier, at Electronic Data Systems, he was part of the team that developed the EDS banking business.
Russ was the founding President of AMR Information Systems, a subsidiary of AMR Corporation (parent of American Airlines). He and his staff built the corporation from fewer than a dozen people to an enterprise of more than 4800 professionals, operating six profitable domestic and international businesses and partnerships.
Russ received an MBA with Honors from Saint Mary's College of California, where he currently serves as a member and past President of the Board of Regents. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Southern California. He served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps.
