Media Publisher Raises $5.3M in Funding

Media Publisher, Inc. of Berkeley has raised $5.3 million in Series B funding, the company announced Tuesday.

Storm Ventures LLC of Menlo Park led the funding, which also included The Angels Forum, The Halo Fund and Garage Technology Ventures. The company has raised a total of $6.3 million.

Media Publisher makes IP-based video management software, which manages Webcasts, video on demand, and other applications for companies.

Rod Bacon, the company's president and CEO, said Media Publisher would now expand sales and marketing efforts both in the United States and internationally.
