Taleo Acquires WetFeet

Taleo Corporation has acquired the Web-based recruiting product WetFeet Recruiter from  WetFeet Inc. including related intellectual property, technology and more than 35 customers, the company said Wednesday.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Taleo said it has transitioned customers of WetFeet Recruiter, an applicant-tracking system, to its own products.

"This acquisition further strengthens Taleo's position as the leading provider of talent management solutions to the retail industry," Michael Gregoire, CEO of Taleo, said in a statement. "We continue to expand our portfolio to provide customers with the tools they need to achieve a competitive advantage and extend our leadership in various verticals."

The transition closed in the third quarter and is not expected to have an impact on operating results.
