Aradigm Starts Test of Inhaled Bronchial Drug
June 19, 2008

Aradigm Corporation started a mid-stage clinical trial of an inhaled drug to treat a bronchial infection.

The treatment is aimed at bronchiectasis, a necrotizing or "flesh-eating" infection of the airways that is often associated with cystic fibrosis. But it also affects people without cystic fibrosis, and this test is in patients without that disease.

This Phase II trial is taking place in the United Kingdom.

Aradigm (OTCBB: ARDM), led by President and CEO Igor Gonda, is based in Hayward.
