Greg Hargrove brings a broad range of experience in both executive leadership and strategic consulting roles to the Alliance.
In the early 1990s, Greg co-founded Westcor Corporation, an innovative manufacturer of electronic power systems, which became a leader its market sector. Following Westcor’s acquisition by Vicor Corporation, (VICR), Greg stayed on to head up Westcor operations, guiding the company to recognition as an approved supplier to such quality leaders as HP, Intel, and GE Medical Systems.
Prior to Westcor, Greg was a Senior Business Consultant for ASK Computers, (later acquired by Computer Associates), playing key roles in sales and product development as ASK became the # 1 solution provider to its target market, and coordinating an unbroken series of successful ERP implementations. Gaining exposure early in his career to the “HP Way” in Hewlett Packard’s Data Systems Division, Greg went on to receive special recognition for his managerial accomplishments at Dictaphone Corporation, and for his technical innovations at GRiD Systems, developers of the first laptop computer.
More recently, as Vice President, Business Development for Ethos Capital, Greg developed advisory relationships with senior executives who had identified attractive business opportunities, and assisted them in developing their proposals for presentation to appropriate funding sources.
Building upon his B.S. in Business Administration, Greg completed Boston University’s Graduate Program in Entrepreneurship and the Stanford Executive Program in Management of High-Technology Companies.
Greg has served on the City of Mountain View Downtown Revitalization Committee, and on the National Board of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. Greg enjoys many outdoor activities, including mountain biking, sailing and cross-country skiing.
