Biography

A former C-level executive, Steve Hutchcraft has over 25 years of managerial and consulting experience. He has led organizations ranging from a $250 million manufacturing company to small, high performing teams and has direct experience in operations, sales, product management, and engineering.

Throughout his career, Steve has provided consul and advice to the leaders of multi-billion dollar organizations and small non-profits, to leaders of companies that are well entrenched and to those just starting-up. Having both led and participated in a variety of strategic planning and organizational alignment processes, Steve knows what works and what is less effective. His strategies have positioned organizations for substantial, profitable growth and turned around struggling businesses.

Steve believes in the importance of giving back to the community and has served on the boards of non-profits focused on social services, the arts, higher education, and land conservation. His passion for the environment led him to the Muir Heritage Land Trust where he currently serves as Chairman of the Board. Steve has also led a pro-bono strategic consulting project for a national land conservation organization based in San Francisco.

He is an avid nature photographer and has published an award winning children's book on birds entitled B is for Bufflehead.

Steve earned a Masters of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
