Prior to founding the Practice of Innovation, Curt Carlson was President and CEO of SRI International. During Curt's 16-year tenure at SRI, its revenue more than tripled and SRI became a global model for the systematic creation of high-value innovations. Carlson is widely sought as a speaker and thought leader on innovation and global competitiveness. He advises U.S. governors, prime ministers, economic ministers, and education ministers around the world on innovation, competitiveness, and educational reform. His book, written with William Wilmot, called Innovation: The Five Disciplines for Creating What Customers Want was selected by BusinessWeek as one of the top 10 business books for 2006. Curt will discuss why innovative success is a strategic imperative and why most of your company’s initiatives likely have no value.
Following Curt's keynote, members will begin their private Alliance Group meetings at 9:00 am. We will also host a CEO Luncheon after the meeting, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, to enable our members to meet CEOs from throughout the Alliance.
