The Alliance of CEOs is hosting a series of CEO Roundtables intended to dive deep into the use of AI by real-world CEOs to drive business performance. This was our fifteenth session and we showcased CEOs who are already leveraging their data to increase revenues and profits by applying AI to improve their marketing, sales, customer support, operations and more. More than 90% of our community of CEOs are using AI, but the majority are piloting solutions that have not yet made it to production. Meanwhile, the AI technology landscape is evolving faster than ever with new models like OpenAI’s GPT-5 now offering an open source “reasoning” model that can power AI agent employees that sit inside the enterprise org chart.  During this Alliance Roundtable, Vanessa Liu of Sugarwork, and Matthew Swanson of Silicon Valley Software Group (Motion Enterprises), shared their latest findings from the marketplaces on where enterprises are adopting AI to go beyond pilots.  During this session the following topics were discussed:

• Use cases and tools gaining traction in the enterprise
• The latest capabilities from leading AI model providers
• Best practices for moving beyond AI pilots to production

Our moderator, Matthew Swanson, Managing Partner of Silicon Valley Software Group (Motion Enterprises), is a 3x founder who specializes in bringing AI productivity software to the enterprise.  

Our guest speaker, Vanessa Liu, is a serial business builder and technology innovator with over 25 years of experience across SAP, Trigger Media and McKinsey. The businesses she has built and relaunched are leaders in their verticals. She is the Co-Founder and CEO of Sugarwork, an enterprise AI platform enabling companies to capture their tacit institutional knowledge to pinpoint automation opportunities.  Previously, she led SAP.iO’s North American Foundries, accelerating 87 enterprise software startups, and served as COO of Trigger Media, where she co-founded InsideHook (acquired by PE) and Fevo (Series C market leader). Vanessa began her career at McKinsey, becoming an Associate Partner in its Media & Entertainment Practice across Amsterdam, London, and New York.  Matthew's slide deck can be accessed by clicking HERE.
