Brad Freitag Promoted to Vice President, Worldwide Sales for FileMaker

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – FileMaker has named Brad Freitag as vice president, Worldwide Sales. He previously served as vice president, Americas Sales, for the company.
In his new position, Freitag will lead FileMaker’s sales teams in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) along with the company’s sales organizations in Asia Pacific and China. He will also be responsible for the company’s FileMaker Business Alliance of partners and resellers in these regions.
“Over the past 3 years, Brad has done an outstanding job and elevated our sales groups in the Americas, Asia Pacific and China to a high level of excellence and performance,” said Dominique Goupil, president, FileMaker. “We look forward to his leadership in sales to continue to build upon our success as the leader in custom apps for Mac, Windows, iPad, iPhone and the web. During his tenure we’ve achieved new levels of popularity among iOS users having recently reached a major milestone of over two million downloads of FileMaker Go on the iTunes App Store.”
Prior to FileMaker, Freitag was vice president of sales for Roambi, where he opened numerous new markets within EMEA, as well as, Asia Pacific and the Americas. He also has held executive sales positions at Host Analytics, Inc., Hyperion Solutions (now part of Oracle) and IBM.
