Hanson Bridgett Named Official Law Firm of the 34th America’s Cup

San Francisco, Calif – Prestigious law firm, Hanson Bridgett LLP, has been named as the Official Law Firm of the 34th America’s Cup. A San-Francisco mainstay since 1958 employing more than 150 attorneys from 5 offices across California, Hanson Bridgett will be providing the America’s Cup Event Authority (ACEA) with a full range of legal services for the 34th America’s Cup, which will be hosted in San Francisco in 2013.

The three-year contract covers the America’s Cup World Series, which begins this summer in Cascais, Portugal and will include up to 16 regattas around the globe over two seasons in 2011/2012 and 2012/2013, as well as two events in San Francisco in 2013 - the Louis Vuitton Cup, America’s Cup Challenger Series, to be held from July 13 – September 1, 2013; and the America’s Cup Finals to be held from September 7 – 22, 2013.
