Vendini Takes Lead in Canadian Ticketing Market with Boxxo Acquisition

SAN FRANCISCO & MONTREAL-- Vendini, the company that makes the business of live events simple, announced that it has acquired Boxxo, Quebec’s leading ticketing software company. Boxxo has been helping arts organizations in Quebec sell tickets for more than 15 years. It currently serves many theaters, cultural, sports and leisure organizations in Quebec. For Vendini, this move expands the company’s customer base and its international presence.

Together, Boxxo and Vendini are honored to now be the largest ticketing solution serving Quebec.”
Vendini has made several strategic acquisitions over the last several years as it expands its platform capabilities and serves a broader range of customers. This includes InTicketing, CrowdTorch, and Dataflow. Much like the deal with Boxxo, each of these acquisitions helped Vendini increase market share and add capabilities that have allowed it to deliver the leading white-label ticketing solution to the broader live events market.

Boxxo team members will join Vendini and continue to serve Boxxo’s customers. Like Vendini, Boxxo’s team includes many with deep roots in the arts, bringing additional expertise in what event managers and live events staff need from their event management solution provider both from technology and high-level service.
