Going ‘Live’ - Running a Business in Real-Time
With the increasing speed at which technology is fueling change, running a real-time business can be a huge difference maker. But as Alliance members Chris Beall of ConnectAndSell, Victor Chapela of Suggestic, Yvonne Linney of Transcriptic, Dennis O’Malley of Caliva, Rodney Pearlman of the Bluefield Project and Jack Peurach of Ekso Bionics can attest, theory and practice are two different things. One thing is certain, running a business in real-time can lead to incredible breakthroughs and achievements, but it also comes with a heavy set of challenges.

Alliance Community Activities
Great energy and collaborative conversations were exchanged during our Alliance Software Roundtable on June 27th at Ernst & Young in San Jose, enabling our members to share their experiences and insights within the software industry. On July 20th, Alliance member Sblend Sblendorio of Hoge, Fenton, Jones & Appel hosted a well-tuned, joint meeting for Alliance groups 127 and 431 at Coast Radio Company/KUIC in Vacaville. Alliance members and their guests savored an enjoyable Alliance Fall Dinner at the City Club in San Francisco on September 27th, enabling our members and their guests to connect and socialize with leaders throughout the Bay Area.

Nuggets From Behind Closed Doors
There are hundreds of years of experience inside every private Alliance meeting. While protecting the confidentiality of the member who challenged their private Alliance Group to “sit in their seat,” we’ve captured just a few of the insightful comments from a handful of members.
