Leadership in a Digital Age
As Alliance members John Aisien of Blue Cedar, Linda Hand of Prealize Health, John Kelly of Zenreach, Johnny Loiacono of Movius, Alon Matas of BetterHelp.com, Rick O’Connor of Invicta Medical and Said Ouissal of ZEDEDA can attest, accelerated change has profoundly impacted the challenges they face, including how they manage, who they hire and how they communicate. It also forces business leaders to confront an almost impossible question: How does one lead when everything seems subject to change in today’s digital age?

Alliance Community Activities
Recent Alliance community activities included keynote discussions with Executive Speaking Success Founder, John Bates; Managing Partner of Blue Dots Partners, Philippe Bouissou; Age Wave Co-Founder, Maddy Dychtwald; and Perfect Fitness Founder & Author of Unstoppable Teams, Alden Mills. In celebration of National Entrepreneurship Month in November, the Alliance teamed up with Junior Achievement of Northern California to host the JA Centennial Entrepreneur Summit. Alliance members Nathan Harding of FoxEye Robotics, KaiYen Mai of Fusion Jerky, Mark Ruggles of Development Solutions & Services, and Hanna Wu of The Burlingame Company, shared their entrepreneurial journeys and how an “entrepreneurial mindset” can enable anyone to start a business. Alliance members and their guests from throughout the Bay Area gathered together on December 5th to enjoy our Alliance Holiday Dinner at the Peninsula Golf and Country Club in San Mateo. 

Nuggets From Behind Closed Doors
There are hundreds of years of experience inside every private Alliance meeting. While protecting the confidentiality of the member who challenged their private Alliance Group to “sit in their seat,” we’ve captured just a few of the insightful comments from a handful of members.
