Inside the Summer 2010 Issue:
Finding “Yes” In a Sea of “Maybe”
While the U.S. economy is showing signs of recovery, many organizations are finding once-qualified prospective customers still hesitant to pull the trigger. A number of Alliance CEOs share the challenges their particular organizations faced and how they were able to separate the “wheat from the chaff” and increase their sales.
Alliance Community Activities
Recent Alliance CEO Community Activities included a variety of CEO events including a CEO Roundtable that gave Bay Area CEOs the opportunity to discuss “California is Broken: What Would CEOs Do to Fix It,” a discussion with Polycom CEO, Bob Hagerty, about how he built a billion-dollar company and our Alliance CEO Progressive Dinner in San Francisco.
Cross-Linking Supply Chains: A Case Study
Neal Gutterson, CEO of Mendel Biotechnology, shared how his company is building a new supply chain by cross-linking three existing supply chains in new and unique ways. And what fun it is!
Check out our newest Alliance members who run companies in industries such as database security, surgical imaging equipment, alternative energy, CRM software, biotech and many others.
We've got some great events coming up, including CEO Roundtables on “Financial & Legal Preparation for Exiting Via IPO or M&A” and “Developing High-Performing Management Teams;” our Alliance Spring & Fall Dinners; and keynote discussions with Noah Alper, founder of Noah’s Bagels, and Eamonn Kelly, CEO of the Global Business Network and author of “Powerful Times.” Alliance members are invited to attend all keynote discussions, even if their private group is not meeting that day.
