Technology’s Fast-Forward Future
As we examined in our recent Spring 2016 Alliance newsletter, Bay Area leaders have largely been responsible for creating the technologies that drive today’s global economy. As the Alliance celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, we’re proud that many of these leaders have been members of the Alliance. Moving forward, rapid acceleration of technological breakthroughs poses tough questions for leaders. What will their workplaces look like? How will they, as leaders, lead? Learn how Alliance members, Gene Banman, Patrick O’Malley, Stan Schneider, Dave Summa and Kelley Steven-Waiss, along with recent Alliance keynote, author and Deloitte Chief Strategy Officer, Eamonn Kelly, consider how leaders and their industries will evolve over the next 20 years.

Alliance Community Activities
Recent Alliance Community Activities included a variety of events, such as our Alliance Roundtable discussing how VCs, including Alliance member Doug Dooley of Venrock, think and look for opportunities to disrupt sleepy industries, our Alliance Software and Life Sciences Roundtables, our Alliance Spring Dinner at the Silicon Valley Capital Club in San Jose, and Keynote discussions with James White, Former CEO of Jamba Juice, who discussed the importance of cross-functional collaboration, and Deloitte Chief Strategy Officer, Eamonn Kelly, who discussed how to win in the era of disruption.

Nuggets From Behind Closed Doors
There are hundreds of years of experience inside every private Alliance meeting. While protecting the confidentiality of the member who turned to his or her group for help, we’ve captured just a few of the insightful comments from a handful of members. Read how Anne Bisagno of Xantrion and David Matheson of SmartOrg, would address the challenges faced by two of their fellow Alliance members.
