Discussion Overview
This twenty-first session examined the state of AI adoption across industries, business functions, and use cases, with a focus on what the next stage of AI transformation means for mid-market companies.
As organizations move beyond individual productivity gains, CEOs are increasingly focused on how to scale AI across the business, turn proprietary data and institutional knowledge into a strategic advantage, and redesign processes around measurable outcomes. During this Roundtable, participants explored where AI is gaining traction, the shift from copilots toward agentic AI, and the decisions leaders face around capability, cost, data sensitivity, and infrastructure.
Featured speaker Seema Alexander, Founder and CEO of Disruptive AI, shared perspectives on how companies can move from experimentation toward organization-wide intelligence and why model selection is becoming a portfolio of business decisions. The discussion was moderated by Matthew Swanson, CEO of StaffAI and Managing Partner of Silicon Valley Software Group, who discussed approaches such as model routing to match different business tasks with the appropriate level of AI capability and cost. Together, they offered a practical view of how CEOs can build AI capabilities that improve operations, customer experience, and decision-making.
