Apeel Sciences, a food system innovation company, added $250 million in Series E funding, giving it a valuation of $2 billion, to speed up the availability of its longer-lasting produce in the U.S. (where approximately 40% of food is wasted), the U.K. and Europe. Sutro Biopharma Ovarian Cancer Drug Gets FDA’s Fast Track Tag

Sutro Biopharma announced that the FDA has granted Fast Track designation to its drug STRO-002, a folate receptor (“FR”) alpha-targeting antibody-drug conjugate (“ADC”), to treat advanced ovarian cancer in patients who have received one to three prior lines of systemic therapy.
