Roundtable, How CEOs are Using AI to Unlock Insights from Their Data
Date: Thursday, October 23, 2025
Location: ZOOM

The Alliance is hosting a series of CEO Roundtables intended to dive deep into the use of AI by real-world CEOs to drive business performance. This was our sixteenth session and we showcased CEOs who are already leveraging their data to increase revenues and profits by applying AI to improve their marketing, sales, customer support, operations and more. Our organizations sit on vast amounts of valuable data, but much of it has traditionally been locked away in internal IT systems. For years, executives relied on printouts, spreadsheets, and dashboards built by tech teams -- tools that offered only partial views and often arrived weeks after the fact. Today, AI changes that. Leaders can simply ask natural language questions and instantly unlock insights from their enterprise data, turning information into decisions in real time. During this Alliance Roundtable, Rand Morimoto of Convergent Computing shared how he is using AI to "talk with enterprise data." He broke down the most impactful reporting use cases, showed how AI can be deployed in days rather than weeks, and explained how to keep enterprise data secure. This was a no tech-jargon conversation with practical tips that any executive can take into their daily operations.

Our moderator, Matthew Swanson, Founder of MotionERP, is a 3x founder who specializes in bringing AI productivity software to the enterprise.

Our guest speaker, Rand Morimoto, is a pioneer in the tech industry, and for the past 50 years has helped business execs leverage the latest in tech to attain a competitive advantage. Rand has written over 70 bestselling books on everything from electronic messaging to data systems to organizational management. He was Y2K advisor to President Clinton and Cybersecurity advisor to President Bush, setting U.S. domestic policy on data protection and compliance across two decades in government. Rand and his company of 40 yrs, Convergent Computing, jumped into the world of AI over 4 1/2 years ago and has helped 200+ customers leverage the latest in AI enabling business execs to be first movers in their industry utilizing AI in strategic business decision making.
